Collection: Drinkers and Feeders

Our hens can be preordered or purchased when you visit — preordering is probably best to avoid disappointment.

Even if you've preordered, you're still welcome to pick your own individual hens when you come to collect them, as they all have their own characteristics.

When introducing new hens to an existing flock, having treats on hand for the first few days can help with integration, giving them something else to focus on. These are all available to buy when you collect your hens.

If we're unable to supply the breed you ordered, you'll be offered a full refund or an alternative breed.

Using a poultry tonic for the first few weeks can help reduce stress and support their immune system as they settle in

Hens are usually around 17–20 weeks old when ready for collection, and are fully vaccinated, details are on the faqs page

Unfortunately, we don't allow hens to be returned except for health reasons. This is to protect our existing flock, particularly with bird flu still a risk.

Please check availability before booking an appointment (link on home page) — the website may still show a breed as available when it's actually sold out, as this can mean the next batch is open for preorder rather than the current one.
